Offered through the university's College of Business Administration, the Advanced Management Program is an excellent opportunity for managers to examine and prepare for the dynamic challenges facing today's companies and organizations. This intensive 12-week certificate program will help refine your management skills and broaden your understanding of up-to-the-minute business theory and practice. A full-day orientation provides an overview of the program. Each session focuses on key concepts, tools and techniques needed to help you manage and lead in today's challenging business environment. The Advanced Management Program is designed specifically for:
Program Format
The Advanced Management Program is an intensive 12-week certificate
program offered at the University of Nevada, Reno. Students are required to
attend the full-day orientation and leadership session. Remaining sessions
on select Tuesday evenings will focus on key concepts,
tools and techniques needed to be successful in today's challenging business
environment. Interactive course sessions, case studies and problem-solving
exercises will help you refine management skills and expand your knowledge.
Tuition
The early registration fee of $1,675 must
be received by Aug. 30, 2004. After Aug. 30, the fee is $1,875 for late registration. Fees
include tuition, course books and materials, daily refreshments, orientation
lunch, and graduation reception. Tuition may be paid by check, purchase order,
VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover made payable to Board of Regents. Note:
Full payment must be received at time of registration to guarantee enrollment
in the course.

Program Graduates
Earn graduate credit toward
an MBA!
Three optional graduate credits (BADM 793) are available for an additional
fee of $382.50. Credits may apply to the MBA program in the University of Nevada,
Reno’s College of Business Administration but do not guarantee acceptance
into the MBA program. Students must have a bachelor’s degree to earn
graduate credit; those who desire graduate credit but have not established
status with the University of Nevada, Reno’s Graduate School must complete
a Graduate Special Application and pay a nonrefundable application fee of $60.

Program Refunds and Cancellations
Cancellations
made at least two weeks prior to the program will receive a full refund minus
a $75 processing fee. Cancellations made less than two
weeks before the start of program are subject to a 50 percent cancellation
fee, however substitutions may be made at no cost up to the day of the
first session. No refunds will be given and no substitutions will be accepted
after the program begins.
