JoAnne Gipson directs the gaming management certificate program as part of the professional development programs at the University, developing partnerships with gaming entities for global training in operational management. She has been connected to the gaming industry for more than 15 years, involved in programming, event planning and international education, including the globally recognized Executive Development Program for top-level gaming executives. Gipson oversees online gaming course offerings, contract training, and week-long and short course offerings for gaming managers, as well as training partnerships with national and international entities.
She's worked with a local event organization for more than six years, hosting running races in the community to showcase and benefit the area and provide several nonprofit organizations with exposure and financial contributions.
