KIDS University
(boys and girls entering grades 2-8)
Seven week-long sessions
June 16-Aug. 1, 2008
KIDS University at the University of Nevada, Reno
provides seven fun-filled themed weeks of sports and learning activities
on the University campus. KIDS U instructors are University of Nevada,
Reno faculty and teachers in the Washoe County School District; education
students and teaching assistants are high school graduates over 17.
Many great sessions are still available for registration. Here are just a few to check out:
• Cinco Culturas — Explore the cultures of five countries from the Spanish-speaking world!
• KIDS Congress — Visit Nevada’s state capital and learn how the Constitution works in your daily life!
• Spinelli Spells F-U-N — Get to know the books of the awesome award-winning author Jerry Spinelli!
• KIDS U Sign Language — Talk to your friends and family without speaking a word!
• Summer of Poetry — Stretch your creativity and write and design your own book!
• KIDS U Improv — No experience necessary: Have a laugh riot and find the comedian in you!

Every camper will receive personalized instruction in a fun and learning environment. Sessions are held Monday through Friday in full- and half-day blocks on the University campus.
Watch your mailbox! Brochures should arrive by Friday, March 7 by mail or through the Washoe County School District, and will also be available to download here or to pick up in person in the Continuing Education Building, second floor, 1041 N. Virginia St.

*In order to keep the lines moving and to be fair to all, a limit of four registration forms will be accepted per person in line. Registrations will not be accepted prior to 7 a.m., Saturday, March 29.

Nevada Wolf Pack Altitude Camp
For Boys and Girls
Grades 8-12
July 13-18, 2008
The Nevada Wolf Pack Altitude Camp based at the University of Nevada, Reno
is a cross country training and teaching camp that will help you become a
better athlete. Learn the basics of training theory, physiology, nutrition,
race strategy and sports psychology. Training groups will consist of individuals
