CARSON CITY/DOUGLAS COUNTY
University of Nevada, Reno MBA Cohort Program in Carson City/Douglas County

The College of Business Administration has developed the MBA cohort program to be offered in Carson City-Douglas County beginning with the first courses in Fall 2005. Classes will run until Dec 2008. The University of Nevada, Reno MBA Program is among a select group of U.S. graduate business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the highest level of accreditation attainable in business education.

The MBA cohort program in Carson City-Douglas County is supported in part by generous donations from General Electric (GE) and the Starbucks Coffee Company, in collaboration with the University’s Extended Studies office. Western Nevada College works with the University to make its Douglas County facilities in Minden available for classroom space. Many thanks to all!

The program emphasizes those skills in demand in today’s dynamic work environment: communications, critical thinking, integration, teamwork and a global perspective.

The Carson City-Douglas County MBA program accommodates the needs of part-time students by offering courses on two select weekday evenings, 6-9 p.m., in Fall and Spring semesters, and in an intensive evening schedule during the Summer session, beginning in May 2005.
