Dawna Snyder

Dawna Snyder has been with Extended Studies since 2002. She has more than 25 years of financial management experience, and she manages and develops academic credit programs and courses in Library Science Certification; Social Work 3+1; Nuclear Packaging; Water; Sanitation and Hygiene; Specialty Psychology programs; domestic and international faculty-led travel programs; short-term and weekend courses; field schools and teacher re-certification.

She serves as the University liaison for the Davidson Institute for Talent Development, sits on the Washoe County School District's Gifted and Talented Advisory Committee, and serves on the University's Staff Employee Council. Snyder has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nevada, Reno in human development and family studies, with an emphasis in accounting and adolescence. She is pursuing a Master of Science in equity and diversity in education at the University of Nevada, Reno.
