Shera Alberti-Annunzio, M.Ed.
Associate Director of Workforce Development
Shera Alberti-Annunzio is a fourth-generation Nevadan. She has a Master of Arts in educational leadership and a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Nevada, Reno. She holds a Nevada state teaching license, and she is a certified Toastmaster and trainer in Emergenetics.
She has been with Extended Studies as Assistant Director of Professional Development and Certificate programs since 2003. She handles programs in Human Resources, Public Management, Supervisory Management, Nonprofit, Mediation and Conflict Resolution, Certified Public Officials and the Nevada Clerks Academy. She also coordinates conferences and corporate training. She served as the liaison for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Nevada, Reno from 2004-2015, securing more than $2 million in endowment funds and donations.
Before working at Extended Studies, Alberti-Annunzio was the fiscal coordinator for the Education Collaborative. She also owned ATD Consulting Inc., a grant writing and grant consulting company for eight years. She served six years on the board of directors for the United Way of the Northern Nevada and the Sierras. She currently serves as the Ethics chair and on the Community Impact Committee.
